  3.5 (google doesn't allow for half points). I was excited to try this place as it always looks busy in the summertime. The Kawartha ice cream shack is a real treat! Here's our break down. The food quality is a 3.75. The eggplant fries were tasty and savoury. It was served with an aoili sauce alongside another dip. Jay ordered the house burger which came with homemade chips! He said it was satisfying and definitely lived up to housemade. The patty was juicy and large - they did not cheap out. I am trying to go vegan but had to switch back to vegetarian for this visit as the only veg main dish being offered was the mushroom ravioli. No complaints.
  
  Unfortunately, we rate the service 3. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable (4.5!) but boy did the food take long to arrive. I understand it's made in-house but, we were the 2nd table dining in with the 1st table having had their food served already.
  
  I'd love to see more vegan/ vegetarian options on the menu (main course not just salads). We are open to coming back in the summer to enjoy the patio upstairs when the restaurant is fully staffed - maybe service will move along faster.

  A haven for Stouffville foodies. Our favourite restaurant in this town. Consistently excellent food, wine and service. Excellent steaks. Good wine list. Great port list. Good brunch. Nice patio. Reservations are recommended for busier times. Menu changes with the season but there is always quality and imagination.
  
  Good for after church or in-laws visiting. Great for date night.
