  Usually the food isn't bad here. Pretty good actually. However, I'll never be setting foot in here again.
  
  After picking up take out food, getting it home and finding a piece of rubbery, clearly not right piece of fish, we politely called up to explain the issue and ask if we could come and pick up a replacement.
  
  Shouldn't be too much of an issue, right? Wrong.
  
  I believe the exact response was "so what? What do you want me to do about it?" I explained that I'd like a replacement but was basically told "tough luck". And this was talking to the guy who I believe is the owner.
  
  I'm not sure what I'd done to make him react the way he did but I'm not going to go back and find out, wasting my money in the process.
  
  In future, if I need my fish and chip fix, I'll be taking my custom just down the road to the far superior Captain George's.
  
  With so many places to choose from to eat out in Stouffville, our friend at Stouffville Fish and Chips would do well to understand that people will forgive poor quality food as long as the establishment puts the mistake right and don't behave like hormonal teenagers.

  Last night we had a terrible experience at stouffvile fish and chips. My husband went in to ordered waited 20 minutes for our food which is not a problem. When he got home and when we went to eat our good the batter on thr fish was so hard it wasn't even edible and there was hardly anything inside. We have a baby so we ordered after he was asleep and they closed early so we couldn't even complain. So basically we ended up paying $58 for French fries. I kept a piece and will be going back today to complain. We wanted to support our local restaurant, I've live in this town my entire life. We paid 2 times as much as the other resturant and it was awful. I won't be going back.

  Excellent High Quality and Value your Home Town Fish & Chips, I believe they are Family Owned we have been ordering Take Out for last approx. 16 years and we are always totally satisfied, clean restaurant the food is amazing. Real good Fish and Chips just wonderful. Nice friendly staff ordering now Don
